Sudafrica, i 33 convocati per il Rugby Championship

Il coach degli Springbooks, Allister Coetzee, ha ufficializzato la lista dei 33 convocati per il Rugby Championship 2017. Il gruppo del Sudafrica si riunirà l'8 agosto a Port Elizabeth per iniziare la preparazione a questo evento. Coetzee ha confermato il gruppo che ha partecipato ai Test match estivi, considerando l'ottimo stato di forma mostrato dalla squadra.

Tre saranno gli esordienti: il mediano d'apertura Curwin Bosch (Sharks), l'estremo Warrick Gelant (Bulls) e il flanker Dan du Preez (Sharks).

l torneo avrà inizio il prossimo 19 agosto, con Australia-Nuova Zelanda ad inaugurare l'evento all'ANZ Stadium di Sydney (calcio d'inizio alle 20:00 ora locale, 12:00 ora italiana). Il Sudafrica esordirà lo stesso giorno contro l'Argentina al Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium di Porth Elizabeth (con calcio d'inizio alle 17:05).
