I convocati di Warren Gatland per il tour estivo del Galles

Il Galles affronterà nell’ordine l’Inghilterra a Twickenham il 29 maggio per poi volare in Nuova Zelanda dove affronterà gli All Blacks in una serie di 3 test ufficiali e uno infrasettimanale contro i Chiefs.

Warren Gatland ha scelto così il suo gruppo che affronterà gli impegni, Sam Warburton sarà il capitano, Leigh Halfpenny non è stato chiamato dal momento che si è sottoposto ad un secondo intervento chirurgico al ginocchio in aprile. L’head coach gallese si è riservato di chiamarlo successivamente nel caso avesse bisogno di injury covers nel corso del tour neozelandese, per il test contro l’Inghilterra sarebbe troppo presto.

Il veto/minaccia del presidente del Tolone Boudjellal di non pagare i giocatori impegnati in giugno non lo spaventa, Gatland ha semplicemente detto che affronterà il problema se dovesse proporsi.
