Maro Itoje European Player of the Year
I Maro Itoje si è meritatamente conquistato il premio di European Player of the Year vincendo la finale di Champions Cup contro il Racing 92 e guadagnandosi anche il man of the match dell'incontro. Il giovane nazionale inglese ha battuto la concorrenza dei compagni di squadra Kruis e Farrell ma anche, tra gli altri, di Dan Carter, uscito sconfitto proprio dalla finale.
Itoje è il quarto inglese di fila a vincere il prestigioso premio dopo Jonny WIlkinson, Steffon Armitage e Nick Abendanon.
